I am feeling more comfortable here at Blogger...a bit

I will use this map at the top of my blogs until I can figure out how to make a more personal background/template.  I watched the video about that and gave up on the 5th step.  Thanks anyhow Babs and I will return to it eventually to help me get smarter here.  I just seem to have systems overload right now.  However, I am happy to have learned the things I have and to have 10 people following my blogs so far.  I had planned on Multiply to keep it under 10 and ended up with 30.  I learned that folk often go weeks without blogging as they go on holidays or have a crisis, so I can handle 30 if I have to.  It still felt personal.  I didn't feel like I was doing generic writings.

I looked up Dana/Danuh, as in the Irish goddess, and found this picture.  My grand-daughters and I are really into fairies right now.  Well we have always been into them.  But now we are doing some research and finding out that Dana was special in Irish mythology.  Our wee fairy grand-daughter Dana is our corn fairy.  All fairies have talents.  I will ask her tomorrow what her's are.  One might be just being cute.

Now I must do some other Internet things while I have this good connection, and get back to writing about the trip in to the widest province, Ontario. It takes as long to cross Ontario to #1 sons house as it did to cross the prairies from BC.    It may not look like it on the map but you have to go up north and around the top of the Great Lakes and then swing south before going east again to the New York State border where they live.  Those Great Lakes are glorious but also a pain in the butt to navigate around.   ttyt

  1. Your beautiful granddaughter looks like a faerie in that picture! Blogger takes some time to learn, but once you navigate around a few times, it gets much easier. I am happy you are here! Safe travels!

    1. I did look that up and gleaned some new information. the old tales are fascination. Our Dana doesn't mind being called a Goddess at all but would rather be a princess.
